Born into a military family, I was no stranger to traveling growing up. Having to make new friends was a norm, but after a few a moves I stopped thinking about it negatively and thought “If we didn’t travel so much, I wouldn’t have got to meet such cool people or see new cities.” I also started to notice how music changes from region to region so I’ve had the chance to listen to other music than just Hip-hop and R&B. I spent a good portion of my life on the west coast and the midwest even though I was born on the east coast, now currently down in Florida attending school for Music Production. I’ve always known that I was meant to create, but I was wondering what would my craft be. I didn’t grow up thinking I would be a rapper, that’s some corny ass shit to say. I tried several things, trying to find my way from acting, to playing, to drawing. I liked those hobbies, but I didn’t see myself making careers out of it. I didn’t start being interested in rap until sophomore year in high school. The first life-long homie I met, put me up on some underground hip-hop and I was like “what the hell is that?” Bruh, that shit changed how I perceived hip-hop, music, how you can craft words, etc. Since then, I’ve had some dope experiences especially meeting some big name artists like Big Sean (before FF3) and Project Pat. Fast forward to toady and I feel like I’ve jumped leaps and bounds from my earlier mindset. I used to just want to rap, but that path is too expensive. I do everything in house from songwriting to producing so that I can consistently do what I love to do, but man it is WORK! Fuck with an artist who ain’t afraid to get his hands dirty.
